5 Steps for Realistic Scar Makeup

I’mlita sheri peer, scar Lita Sheri Peer, from Birmingham, Alabama. I slay hair/makeup, and I am a pet caretaker. I am also a self-taught, upcoming, SFX artist.
I love my cats & going to concerts. I graduated from Aveda Institute Birmingham in 2012. Since then I have worked in Aveda salons and other freelance jobs, creating desired results for my people!
Along the way I have been published in several magazines for editorial makeup/hair, such as B-Metro Magazine, Good Grit Magazine and Turn Magazine. I’ve been fortunate enough to have had opportunities doing hair for fashion designers, such as Nanette Lepore & Rebecca Minkoff.
I have also had the pleasure of being a guest hair and makeup artist for Birmingham Fashion Week 2014 & 2016!

Step 1: Alita2pply scar wax to desired area (You can pick this up at most Halloween stores or make your own, mix with foundation to match your skin).

Step 2: Build up the area enough so you can create your wound and give a swelling effect.lita3

Step 4: Now paint! I suggest grease base paint or a “bruise color pallet” from any Halloween store. Liquid lipstick/eyeshadow can also help create this look! lita5

lita6Step 5: MAKE IT GROSS! After you are completely done painting, drip fake blood on your wound to your satisfaction!

Tip: Make your own fake blood with corn syrup and red food coloring! lita7

Stay spooky!
